This Lock-Top damper seals tight to keep heat in house when the fireplace is not burning. The Lock-Top design seals with a silicone rubber gasket. Protects your home against heat/air-conditioning loss up the chimney, and prevents downdrafts, rain leaks, and insects. A cable drops down the flue and attaches to a control handle mounted in the fire box.

This chimney cap/damper comes fully assembled. Its base mounts to the sweep’s ring (included), which attaches to the flue tile with silicone sealant (included). A 30′ stainless steel cable and hardware are included. All Lock-Top II cap/dampers have an overall height of 11 3/8″. Features a silicone rubber seal, stainless steel and cast aluminum construction
